O Seminário "Digitality and management: presence, time, and space in organizations" promovido pelo projeto financiado pelas Cátedras Franco-Brasileiras das Universidades do Estado de São Paulo será no dia 27 de maio, às 9h. As sessões são mensais e acontecem entre abril e outubro.

A Cátedra procura promover discussões sobre a digitalização das organizações e da sociedade, com interesse especial em explorar como a digitalização afeta os indivíduos e como eles constituem o tempo, o espaço e a presença nas organizações.

Os palestrantes convidados são o professor François-Xavier de Vaujany e o professor André Carlos Busanelli de Aquino. Vaujany é professor na Université Paris-Dauphine-PSL e sua pesquisa abrange estudos organizacionais, reflexões sobre digitalização e implicações nas relações de trabalho. 

Aquino é professor titular de Contabilidade da Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade de Ribeirão Preto (FEA-RP) da USP. Coordena o grupo de pesquisa “Public Sector Accounting & Governance” (PSAG) e é pesquisador permanente do Instituto de Estudos Avançados (IEA-USP).

Será em inglês sem tradução para o português. Os participantes poderão fazer perguntas em português, inglês e francês.

É gratuito, aberto ao público e haverá emissão de certificado ao final do ciclo de sessões. As inscrições podem ser feitas em fluxo contínuo aqui.

Webinars discuss the impacts of digitalization on the notions of space and time in organizations.

Promoted by the Franco-Brazilian Chairs Program of the Universities of the State of São Paulo. It is na online event, with registrations open to the public. Monthly sessions between April and October, the next on May 27th. Certificates at the end of the webinar cycle.

The Chair seeks to promote discussions on the digitization of organizations and society, with a special interest in exploring how digitalization affects individuals and how they constitute time, space and presence in organizations.

The Chair Professor is Professor François-Xavier de Vaujany, and the host Professor is Professor André Carlos Busanelli de Aquino. De Vaujany is a Full professor at Dauphine Center for Management Research (DRM), Université Paris-Dauphine-PSL. His research focus on organizational and management theories, new forms of organization and management. His main interests are on how novelties arise and are legitimized in digital societies, including topics such as time and temporality, spatiality, materiality, and phenomenology. Aquino is a Full professor of Public Sector Accounting at the Faculty of Economics, Administration and Accounting of Ribeirão Preto (FEARP-USP). He coordinates the research group “Public Sector Accounting & Governance” (PSAG) and is a permanent researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IEA-USP).

The sessions will be in English without translation into Portuguese. Participants will be able to ask questions in Portuguese, English and French.
