Biografia
Possui graduação em Ciências Econômicas pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1989), mestrado em Administração de Empresas (concentração em Finanças) pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas - SP (1995) e doutorado em Controladoria e Contabilidade pela Universidade de São Paulo (2000). Livre-docente (2008), é professor associado da Universidade de São Paulo (FEA-RP). Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: estrutura e custo de capital, fontes e formas de financiamento.
